Last night, after our last day at the conference, we went to the Willis Tower (formerly Sears Tower) to check out the view from the observation deck. Willis Tower is the tallest building in the U.S. By the way.
Very cool. Beyond the fact that the views from the tallest building in the U.S. are very cool, they had several little “boxes” sticking out the side of the building made entirely of glass (floors, walls, ceilings) that you could walk out into. That was a little scary and it took a little time for each of us to coax ourselves out there into it. When in this box you are standing there looking down through a glass floor with nearly 1500 feet between you and the ground. Crazy.
Very cool. I advise anyone going to Chicago to check this out.
